“Adventure” and Busting Loose

The word ‘adventure’ struck me the other day as being a decent description of the Busting Loose nature of the Phase 2 Journey within The Human Game. So, being a word lover, I looked it up in the dictionary, and here’s what it had to say:

Ad•ven•ture  n (italics added)
1.    an exciting or  extraordinary event or series of events
2.    an undertaking involving  uncertainty and  risk (I first typed frisk, an interesting linguistic slip of some sort, no doubt)
3.    the participation or willingness to participate in things that involve uncertainty and risk
4.    a risky or speculative financial undertaking

And the verb form: to dare to go somewhere new or engage in something dangerous.

Now, I don’t know about you, but as Busting Loose From The Money Game pointed out, a fair amount of my life had been about telling myself that I loved adventure, but thought that I also needed to avoid uncertainty and risk. At least, what I labeled unnecessary uncertainty and risk.

And then I read that Robert pointed out that risk avoidance is what Expanded Self uses in Phase 1 to convince me that I am limited and restricted, the opposite of who and what I truly am: infinite, eternal, limitless, and don’t go there! How cool is that! To have a word like adventure that gently and seductively masks uncertainty and risk and extraordinary and so easily gives us the sense that adventure is just a light frolic. No need to go deep here. That could be dangerous and should be avoided because … who knows what might happen?

In short, when I looked at the dictionary definition of adventure, I got a couple of interesting things. For Phase 1 to work at all, the fear and avoidance of risk and uncertainty was necessary to keep me from getting really clear on the power that I am as Player in my hologame. And that adventure/risk/uncertainty was equally necessary for Phase 2 to be kept interesting and challenging. And that really, Expanded Self is handling everything magnificently.

So that leaves me with Robert’s invitation and challenge to jump through the portal into Phase 2 and just use the tools – use the tools – use the tools, fully experience my experiences and tell the truth, that in all the surprises I am having great fun and being royally entertained with/in my holographic Human Game – adventure!

September Emotions Game Busting Loose Workshop

Busting Loose From The Emotions Game Workshop begins Monday evening September 7th from 6:30 PM to 8:30 PM at our home.

Slight change in expression of appreciation – first session is FREE so you can come “kick the illusion’s tires” and get a feeling if this is for you or no. Remaining sessions, and there are 18 in all, will be $15 per session.

Why do this, or any, Busting Loose workshop?

Robert’s body of work, model and tools are just very cool stuff. Since Spring 2007, we’ve hosted 4-5 Money Game and Emotions Game workshops touching just under 100 Players. The nearly 100% feedback we’re getting is:

•  thanks for making these DVDs available to watch and discuss

•  thanks for facilitating and creating a safe space to play and explore in

•  the tools have changed and continue to change the richness of my experience of The Human Game

•  stuff that used to really twist my nickers I now use to reclaim power

•  stuff that used to really twist my nickers somehow just doesn’t do that anymore

•  I find myself focusing and pursuing more of what floats my boat, what inspires me, what is more fun to me

•  it’s really supportive to have a place to be with other Phase 2 Players sharing a similar journey and talking the same language

•  where other spiritual and self help stuff seemed like everyone else was ‘getting it’ and somehow I just wasn’t, this stuff just seems to work

•  it’s very cool to ‘get’ why in Phase 1 that just has to be so perfectly and crazy-makingly so

My experience after two years facilitating the Busting Loose work is that infinite really is becoming infinite.To my personal amazement and amusement I ALWAYS pick up new and supportive insights from watching the DVDs (again and again and …) and from creating workshop Players who say the most amazing and supportive things.

Pat and I marvel at our breakthroughs and cookies and still grumble through some of the eggs – well, OK, maybe through most of the eggs. But there’s always a sense of expansion and often a sense of Expanded Self steering that comes with it or right after it, and that’s just plain different.

So, here is your invitation to come and play and learn how to keep more focus on playing in your hologram with fewer and fewer limitations and restrictions.

Hey, there’s only one of us here anyway; it’s all just you talking to you through the other Players you are creating in your hologram through these workshops. I mean really, who you gonna listen to?

The workshop begins Monday, September 7th from 6 to 8 PM . First one is the FREE exploration experience, and then we begin dancing down the Busting Loose From The Emotions Game road together.

“Other People Are …”

tomsausalito1You create other people/players to interact directly with to serve 3 purposes:

  • Reflect Something You Think Or Feel About Yourself – or reflect back to you progress or status in some area(s) of your Human Game experience.
  • Give You The Gift Of Information Or Insight – something you would blow off if it comes to you in the shower, but you could hear if it comes from  “someone/someplace outside of you.”
  • Set Something Into Motion To Support You – could be something you will “like” in which case you can sort of go to sleep and not make any connection (“It just came out of the blue”), or you can make the connection in Phase 1 terms (“Jeez. ‘They’ did this. I didn’t. I don’t deserve it; I didn’t work for it”), or it could be something you DON’T like. In the last two cases, you create “them” giving you a gift of discomfort so you can apply The Process and reclaim some power.

And “other people” are all actors in your 3D, full-immersion, holographic movie. You create them. You hand them their scripts. They do exactly what you ask them to do – and have it look like it’s coming from somewhere “outside” so you can believe you are limited or restricted.

Phase 1 “power outside” is cool. Phase 1 “power outside” looks like it’s real and works. It’s just that you can now know (I love how those two words go together: now know; know now) that you are doing it all – and it’s always just you talking to you in one of these three supportive ways.
